Overcome by temptation?! No, never!

Why is it that as we come closer to God that we are confronted with more and more temptation? Why does it get harder the further along we go? Because of this, "The single greatest cause of atheism, in this world today, is christains, who acknowledge Jesus with their lips, then deny Him with their lifestyle. That is what an unbeleiving world, simply calls, unbeleivable." by D.C. Talk. Last week i was tempted. I mean hardcore tempted. My sin literally said to me, your going to sin right here and now, and i almost gave in..... and i hate myself for it.... But i'm going to use it as a learning experience! When your sinning never, and i mean NEVER, think that just because you've dabbled in it, that you should go all the way with it... No matter what sin you've ever faced, or will face, God will always give you a way out... Always. While it may not be easy to just stand up, say "I can't do this", and walkaway, you always have that option.
